Privacy Policy
Last updated:
In short: Incense Table collects nothing about you, because it never goes online.
What we collect
Nothing. Incense Table has no account system and never asks for your name, email, phone number or any other identifying information.
There is no analytics tool, no crash reporting service and no advertising SDK in the app, and it does not read your advertising identifier (IDFA or AAID).
Where your data lives
Everything you create in the app — offerings, merit, wishes, tablets, anniversaries, skin and language settings — is written only to your device's local storage (UserDefaults on iOS, SharedPreferences on Android).
That data never leaves your device. We have no server to receive it and no code that would send it.
Network access
Incense Table makes no network requests. The app behaves identically in airplane mode.
The one exception is when you tap share yourself: the system share sheet hands the text you chose to whichever app you pick. You see that text on screen before you tap. What happens after that is governed by that app's privacy policy.
Third parties
No third party receives your data. The open-source packages the app uses — lunar date conversion, local storage, audio playback — all run on the device and make no outbound connections.
Children
Incense Table collects no data, and so collects no data from children.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app deletes all of it. Because we hold no copy, there is no deletion request to file and nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
The same fact cuts the other way: records do not come back after you switch phones or reinstall. There is no backup or transfer feature today.
Changes to this policy
If this ever changes — if cloud backup is added, for instance — we will update this page first and explain it in the app before turning anything on.
